Talley’s Group Ltd is an Aotearoa New Zealand operated and owned corporation. The business is consists of 3 divisions, the dairy, seafood and vegetable divisions, all of them producing one hundred percent New Zealand Aotearoa produced goods. The organization was established in the year nineteen thirty six by Ivan P Talijancich.
The earliest fishing ship that Talleys possessed was the Janie Seddon, one of the 2 submarine minelaying vessels brought to New Zealand Aotearoa from England in 1903. The vessel was used as an examination vessel in World War Two, and Talleys then obtained the boat in 1936.
The Talleys Seafood Division harvests most marketable seafood species. Species harvested by Talleys includes Greenshell Mussels, Scallops, Orange Roughy, Albacore Tuna and more. As for the Talleys Nelson Deep Sea Division, the chief species that are caught are Squid, Red Cod, Flounder, Hoki and more.
As a fervent supporter for Aotearoa New Zealand products, Talleys is the only produce brand, as at November 2011, that is one hundred percent grown in New Zealand with the complete Talleys vegetable catalogue processed and grown in the country’s rural areas.
